this film tells the story of the lu family in wai village, new territories, hong kong behind the shady scenes of real estate development transactions. the story begins when a villager luo yongjiu (played by louis koo) hit and killed his brother lu yongyuan (played by qian jiale) while drunk. lu yongyuan's wife yuehua (played by zhou xun) has since become incompatible with him. luo yong was released from prison five years later and found that lu hantao (played by zeng jiang), his daughter lu yongyu (played by ye xuan), and his son-in-law (played by huang lei), already owned the largest real estate company in the new territories, while lu brothers lu jinqiang (played by liu qingyun), lu yongfu (played by fang zhongxin) and others were expanding their power frantically. soon the hong kong real estate giant invited luo yong to "discuss major events together." at the same time, the mysterious man azu (played by daniel wu) revealed a secret message to yuehua through eavesdropping. he told yuehua that if he wanted to take revenge in this conspiracy of bullying, he had to follow his instructions... so several forces began to act secretly bbb　　 this film is the third part of the "eavesdropping" series, but apart from the core creativity of "eavesdropping", the content of the story has nothing to do with the first two parts.
